Use of our website www.mygivinghub.com for donations is governed by these Terms and Conditions.
“MyGivingHub”, “we” or “us” means Cornerstone Merchant Services (North) Limited, (company registration number 07373392) whose registered office address is at 1 Westleigh Office Park, Scirocco Close, Moulton Park, Northampton NN3 6BW;
“Donation or Donations” means a card payment contribution given freely and without exchange of value.
“Charity or Cause” means the charities or causes listed on the website who are also the recipient of your donations;
“Us” means “MyGivingHub” either alone or together with You, as the context requires;
“You” means the person using the website and making the donations subject to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Agreement
You may register with MyGivingHub to make donations to Charities and Causes, track your Donations and manage Gift Aid Declarations.
MyGivingHub can only accept your payment for donations to the Charities or Causes registered on our website.
You may donate by Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, American Express, or Maestro cards.
MyGivingHub reserves the right to choose not to accept your donation for any reason, at its discretion, and will not be liable to You or anyone else in those circumstances.
When donating online, MyGivingHub will confirm authorisation of your payment by an acknowledgement displayed on-screen, followed by an e-mail which will be sent to the e-mail address You provide with your details.
2. Donations
By using a credit or debit card to donate, You confirm that the card being used is yours. All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment, we will not accept your payment and we will not be liable for any payment delay or consequences of overdue payment and we are not obliged to inform You of the reason for the refusal. We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging You as a result of our processing of your credit or debit card payment in accordance with your payment request.
3. Gift Aid For UK Taxpayers
To qualify for Gift Aid, you must have:
- Paid UK Income or Capital Gains Tax in that financial year.
- Paid the equivalent amount in tax of the Gift Aid the Charity will reclaim on your donation.
- Notify your supported Charity if you stop paying enough tax, for example, you stop working or your tax rate changes.
MyGivingHub will capture your declaration that You are a UK Taxpayer and have declared that You wish for the Charity or Cause to reclaim Gift Aid. MyGivingHub will mark donations as eligible for the Charity or Cause to make the Gift Aid reclaim. Gift Aid declarations must be renewed annually.
4. Availability
MyGivingHub shall provide the payment services to you in an efficient and effective manner and to the best of our abilities using due skill, care and attention.
5.Your right to claim a refund
Refunds will only be made where a donation has been processed in error or through unauthorised use of your card and only with the prior approval of the Charity or Cause.
6. Use of Donations
MyGivingHub arranges processing of your donations to the Charities and Causes as you direct. MyGivingHub is not responsible for the specific use of these donations by those Charities or Causes.
7. Security
We are responsible for securing your personal data, including credit and debit card data, which is solely in our possession and under our control. We comply with PCI DSS, which sets out the industry standards for maintaining a secure environment and deploy technology in our online payment process to protect your payment card information. MyGivingHub payment processes shall make security checks on the card data to verify that it is being used by the authorised account holder. We make use of Verified By Visa, Mastercard SecureCode and Amex Safekey security processes for your protection.
We recommend that You do not communicate your payment card details to anyone, including Us, by e-mail. We cannot be responsible for any losses You may incur in transmitting non-secure information to Us by internet link or by e-mail. Any such loss shall not be borne either wholly or partly by Us and shall be entirely your responsibility.

8. Changes to service
MyGivingHub reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Website and its associated services at any time with or without notice. All new features, services or software applications shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
9. Termination
You may discontinue use of the Website and associated services at any time. You should cancel and delete any registered cards and recurring donations. To terminate your account please request the closure via customerservices@mygivinghub.com or by calling 0333 123 1243. These Terms and Conditions will continue to apply to your past use.
10. Liability
MyGivingHub will not be liable to You where performance of any of our obligations to You is prevented or restricted by any circumstance or cause beyond our reasonable control.
MyGivingHub’s maximum liability for breach of these Terms and Conditions for direct losses which are of MyGivingHub’s negligence shall not exceed the total sum of the donations you have made using the Website in the preceding 12-month period.
11. Privacy

12. General
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these Terms and Conditions shall be unaffected and shall remain in force. These Terms and Conditions and any contract between Us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute will be brought before the English Courts, unless You live in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case the applicable law of that part of the United Kingdom will apply and any dispute will be brought before the courts there.
MyGivingHub may change these Terms and Conditions at any time, provided that any such change will not affect any donations You have made before the change is implemented. The Terms and Conditions currently in effect are those published on our website at www.mygivinghub.com
